Last updated October 24, 2026. Birmingham Shower Doors is a matching service that connects homeowners with independent local glass professionals. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use this site, how we use it, and who we share it with.

What we collect

Information you send us through the quote form: your name, phone number, project city, the service and project stage you select, and anything you write in the project-details box. Some pages also let you add an email address.

Basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and when you viewed them. Our hosting and security provider records this to run and protect the site, and form submissions are rate-limited by IP address to prevent abuse.

How we use it

To pass your request to one matched independent local glass professional so they can contact you about your project. To communicate with you about your request — for example, the professional's name and direct number once they claim it, and a short follow-up asking whether contact happened. And to operate, secure, and improve the service, including keeping records of requests and matches.

Who we share it with

The matched professional. The glass professional matched to your request receives the details in it so they can respond. If they don't respond within the claim window, your request passes to the next professional in the rotation, who receives the same details. Professionals matched through this site may pay us for the matching service; homeowners are never charged.

Service providers that operate the site for us — currently Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Resend (email delivery) — process information only to provide their services.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or advertisers, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the service from fraud or abuse.

How long we keep it

Request records are kept for up to 24 months for service records, quality follow-up, and dispute handling, then deleted or anonymized.

Your choices

Email [email protected] to ask what information we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or stop further contact about a request. We respond within 30 days. Deleting an open request stops it from being routed.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies that the site needs to function and to block abuse.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to request records is limited to the operator. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This service is for homeowners and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
